Market House
Pittsburgh's South Side Market House is a community center with recreational facilities. It has been closed since August 2003, due to the city's budget crisis. We want to get it opened again. A booster group is making headway. Our news can be posted here.

Pittsburgh Tuesday takes - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
Pittsburgh Tuesday takes - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Onorato's smart move: We certainly don't agree with everything Dan Onorato does. His fealty to a patently unconstitutional property tax assessment scheme and his drink tax top the list. But the Allegheny County chief executive is right on the money with a plan to seek bids from the private sector to run many of the amenities in nine public parks. It's an idea whose time came a long time ago. We're glad to see Mr. Onorato catching up to the curve."
